Along with Polly, Dave ,Chuck , and others, I’d like to lend my voice of support for the Monster Mash going on over at the EMC Developer Network.
I’ll also be watching the results with interest. Why?
I have come to believe that the potential for innovation rises when two (or more) technologies are combined in new ways.
Mashups, of course, are a great way of joining technologies.
If you are interested, registration opens next week. Keep the following dates in mind:
March 1st: Submission opens
April 18th: Last submission date
April 19th: Judging begins
May 12th: Winners announced at EMC World
I’ll be watching the results with great interest! Here is the list of some of the technologies that can be combined (EDN has support for all of these on their website):
- Documentum
- Centera (XAM)
- Celerra
- Atmos
- RSA
- XML (xDB)
I’m thinking about throwing my hat into the ring for the EMC employee prize. Which technologies would I try and combine? I’d probably take the familiar (e.g. Centera, Atmos, Celerra, and/or xDB) and try and combine it with something that I haven’t worked with yet.
Good luck to all who sign up, and don’t forget to use the #edn_mash hashtag for Twitter.
